AB de Villiers reacts as Virat Kohli played an unorthodox shot

The Indian team clinched the T20I series with one more match to go. It was Hardik Pandya’s show at Sydney Cricket Ground as he displayed his finishing skills to the world.

When India needed 14 runs off the last over, the right-handed hard hitter finished it with a double and back to back sixes. Hardik Pandya scored an unbeaten 42 runs while chasing a big target.

Coming to the match, Virat Kohli elected to bowl first after winning the toss. Both the sides made a couple of changes ahead of the second T20I game. While India brought in Iyer and Chahal, Australia included Sams, Tye and Stoinis. In the absence of injured Aaron Finch, the wicket-keeper batsman Matthew Wade captained the side.

Both D’Arcy Short and Matthew Wade opened the inning and provided them with a brisk start. With the help of Wade’s brilliant fifty and Smith’s sensible 46, Australia posted a total of 194 on their board.

While chasing the target of 195, both KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan played their aggressive knocks. After losing both the openers, the skipper took responsibility and played a couple of impressive shots.

In the 15th over off Tye, the skipper played an unorthodox shot for a six. It was absolutely AB de Villiers’ shot as Kohli went on one knee to hit the ball for a six over fine leg.

During the post-match presentation, the skipper of the Indian team said that he would send AB de Villiers a text about that shot. After witnessing the incredible shot, AB de Villiers himself came up with a tweet.

After Kohli’s wicket, Shreyas Iyer and Hardik Pandya took the control of the game and registered a thumping win. Both the sides will play the final T20I game at the same venue on 8th December.
