Arbab Niaz Stadium as Peshawar Zalmi home Ground – Zerocric
The HBL Pakistan Super League tournament 2020 matches played in the cities of Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi and Multan with all four having their home representatives in the six-team league.
Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators were the only two sides that were without a home venue, but Jang reported on Wednesday that The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is planning to add the city of Peshawar to its host cities for next year’s Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021. It means that in the next edition, the only team will be Quetta Gladiator without a home ground.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is planning to solve at least Peshawar Zalmi’s problem by assigning them to Peshawar’s Arbab Niaz Stadium, once the renovation work at the venue has concluded, reported by Urdu daily. While Quetta Gladiators has the Bugti Stadium, due to the security system in Balochistan, it would be challenging to stage matches there, reported by the Jang.

The Bugti Stadium neither has floodlights nor does it have a roof on the stands. It means that the venue lacks basic features needed to host matches of PSL quality apart from the security situation.
