Bangladesh women’s keeper fails to dislodge stumps in time

Bangladesh women’s team wicket-keeper Sultana failed to make an easy stumping in time which provided a life line for Australian batter Mooney.

ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is on the floors now in Australia. The tournament is progressing through the league stage matches and is slowly edging towards the knockouts.

In a league match, Australia Women took on Bangladesh Women and they outsmarted the opponents by beating them by 86 runs. Australia Women batted first and put on 189 runs on the board for the loss of single wicket.

Australia openers had a magnificent partnership withun them which took Australia Women to this huge total. During that partnership Australian batter Mooney was handed over a life line by Bangladesh Women’s wicket-keeper Sultana.

Mooney came down the track for a shot and missed that completely. Sultana grabbed the bowl nicely but she failed to dislodge the bails in time as she was a bit late to hit the stumps. In the meantime, Mooney managed to get the bat back into the crease and managed to save her wicket.
