Gambia faces today its second match of its African Cup of Nations campaign against Mali.
While the Super Eagles endured a chaotic preparation for the tournament, there seemed to be little trouble in their first match, a win against fellow heavyweights Egypt.
Moses Simon, Joe Aribo and Kelechi Iheanacho were all impressed and a win against Mali on Saturday would see them safely into the knockout stage.
Mali, meanwhile, were lucky to avoid defeat against Guinea Bissau in their opening match after their opponents missed a penalty.
Date, kick-off time and venue
The AFCON meeting is scheduled for a 2pm GMT kick-off on Saturday January 16, 2022.
