Jofra Archer’s hilarious video to spread COVID19 awareness
The coronavirus pandemic has brought the world to a standstill and just like many other countries, England has also announced a lockdown in order to control the spread of the virus.
While many of the cricketers raised awareness about the coronavirus with a message or a serious video, England all-rounder Jofra Archer shared a hilarious video to spread the message of staying home.
With his pads on and ready to walk into bat, Archer can be seen abruptly abandoning his walk to the playing area after hearing a warning signal. The signal meant that it gave a warning that England has announced a lockdown.
Archer has made a major impact in international cricket since his debut and he was one of the star bowler last year, who grabbed the spotlight with his thundering pace. The fast bowler picked up 20 wickets in the World Cup last year at home and played a major part in helping England clinch their first-ever World Cup title. He also bowled the super-over in the final game against New Zealand.
He was soon rewarded as he received his maiden Test call-up and made his debut at Lord’s for England during the Ashes against Australia. Archer bowled some fiery spells which also includes sending back Australia’s Steve Smith to the dressing room retired hurt.
The fast bowler is currently out of the action due to an elbow injury and he won’t be able to take part in the Indian Premier League (IPL) if the tournament takes place in the end.
