Kane Williamson loses his cool against Priyam Garg
For the first time in the history of cricket, the skipper of New Zealand, Kane Williamson was absolutely frustrated on his teammate Priyam Garg when he failed to take off for a single. Williamson had almost crossed half of the pitch before he was run-out by Ambati Rayudu.
Coming to the match, Sunrisers Hyderabad decided to bat first after winning the toss against Chennai Super Kings. However, they lost their dangerous opener, Jonny Bairstow for a duck.
Manish Pandey then joined David Warner and built a good partnership but the former was dismissed by Shardul Thakur. The duo of David Warner and Kane Williamson was calm and put pressure on CSK bowlers.
But, the wicket of David Warner gave a wicket of Kane Williamson as well. Warner tried to clear the boundary at long-on but du Plessis jumped perfectly to grab the ball.
On the very next ball, Williamson flicked the ball to the leg side and tried to steal a run. But, the non-striker, Priyam Garg did not show any interest to take a run. So, the right-hander had to return to the strike-end but the CSK fielders ran-out him before he reaching the crease.
After losing his wicket, he was very disappointed and frustrated on his teammate. But, after the loss of their key players, Priyam Garg and Abhishek Sharma shown some glimpses and helped them to reach the fighting total of 164.
