Kohli plays an unorthodox sweep

Indian skipper Virat Kohli played an unorthodox sweep against Andrew Tye in the second T20I and ultimately it went over the boundary.

India’s tour of Australia is getting quite interesting match by match. The hosts clinched the ODI series 2-1 comfortably. But Virat Kohli and his men managed to give a much needed come back in the tour with hattrick wins in the tour. The hattrick win ensured the T20I series win for India too.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to field first. After being put in to bat first, Australia managed to put 194 runs on the board for the loss of 5 wickets. In reply with the batting shows from Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya took India over the line and India won the match by 6 wickets.

The Indian skipper put his part in the chase well with 40 runs off 22 balls. During his innings, the Indian skipper scored 14 runs in the single over of right-arm fast bowler Andrew Tye. He punished the bowler for six and two fours. The six was a special show from Virat Kohli.

It was the fourth ball of the 15th over and the bowler bowled a full-length delivery. Virat Kohli worked an unorthodox sweep well and sent the ball over the line. The right-handed batsman executed the shot, almost similar to his buddy AB de Villiers. The shot is going viral among fans on social media.
