MS Dhoni takes absolute blinder to dismiss Shreyas Iyer

The skipper of Chennai Super Kings, MS Dhoni once again proved that age is just a number. Even though he aged 39, he is still one of the fittest cricketers in the Indian team. The wicket-keeper took a blinder behind the stumps to dismiss the skipper of Delhi Capitals, Shreyas Iyer.

On the final ball of the 19th over, Shreyas Iyer decided to play a big shot off Sam Curran. The England all-rounder bowled a short length delivery and Iyer could not play his shot. As Iyer failed to connect his shot, it took an edge and travelled in the gap between the wicket-keeper and the first-slip.

When everyone thought that the ball would reach the boundary line, the skipper and the wicket-keeper made a full-length dive to complete the spectacular catch.

Coming to the match, Delhi Capitals was asked to bat first by MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings. Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan had a tremendous partnership as they smashed the CSK bowlers all around the park.

At one stage, it looked like the Delhi Capitals would cross 200 runs but the CSK bowlers did very to keep them under 180. The leg-spinner, Piyush Chawla brought back CSK into the game by dismissing both the openers. Though Iyer and Pant had a decent partnership between them, they could not help their team to score more than 180 runs.
