Mushfiqur Rahim expresses gratitude to BCB
After the coronavirus Pandemic hit back in cricket arena, it came to a standstill due to the outbreak of corona in Bangladesh. In the beginning there was more panic in the midst of the people in fear of contamination. And so the cricketers were away from the game even though the level of infection was lower than at present.
Mushfiqur Rahim was the most uncomfortable at the time with no cricket. This senior cricketer of the national team is practice-minded. With gloves and a bat in hand, it is not normal for him to stay at home. Naturally, Mushfiqur was the first to take the initiative and called on the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to start training. With a little time, BCB has given the cricketers a chance to practice.
Mushfiqur thanked the BCB while talking to media on Sunday (July 26) after sweating for several days in practice in Mirpur. Mushfiqur thanked the board’s cricket management department for giving him the opportunity to practice on his own initiative.
He said, ‘The last 7-8 days of practice have been very good, Alhamdulillah. Working at home for four months is completely different from working outside for a few days. I wanted to come out of the house and run, as well as skill work. I am really grateful to the BCB for this. ‘
Mushfiqur thinks that it is wise not to accept reality – it is wise to adapt to the next life. And so the anxiety that was initially seen in his eyes due to the virus has now largely disappeared.
Mushfiqur said, “It is not in our hands. It would not be wise to think too much about what we do not have. The last four months have been a difficult time for everyone. I have tried to do as much fitness work from home as possible. Lockdown for about four months – the first time I’ve seen such a thing in my life.”
“Many thanks to BCB, for giving us the opportunity. Special thanks to the Department of Cricket Operations. As much as I have practiced in the last 7-8 days, it has been arranged and planned, ”said Mushfiqur.
