At the end of the day, Mushfiqur had revealed the reason behind this celebration at the press conference. According to Mushfiqur, he dedicated his third double century to his two-year-old son Mohammad Shahroj Rahim Mayan. He celebrated with a keen interest, as his son liked dinosaur much.

Mushfiqur said,

“This double century is for my son. Thinking about him, I really celebrated. Now his favorite thing is a dinosaur. So I was pointing to fear like a dinosaur.”

At the same time, Mushfiqur also said that after completing his century, he thought about the double century. He commented that he was able to reach that milestone with patience and attention on a perfect batting wicket.

He said, “After a hundred, it seemed that two hundred could be done only by keeping the wicket and patience. We usually don’t get such wickets. Today’s wicket was very good for batting. In addition, Zimbabwe’s bowling was not very challenging, really.”
