Then Sri Lanka does not take too long to get the New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson. N Pradeep was the lucky one to get kiwis skipper. Then Experience man Ross Taylor came in to have some fun in this game as well. Munro completes his fifty on 44 runs. On that moment New Zealand was 75 for 2. Munro was dropped by long on fielder on 60. Munro was showing a good show with the bat but he runs out by a misunderstanding between Ross Taylor and Munro.

Experienced compainer of New Zealand team Ross Taylor completes his 45th ODI fifty. Malinga got Nichols on 32. Ross Taylor runs out with a good throw after 89 runs inning. Neesham once again showing a fun with the bat as he shows in the last game. Neesham also runs out on 64 runs. New Zealand scored 319 runs with the loss of 7 wickets.

Sri Lanka Inning:

Sri Lanka loses first on 28 runs. Gunathilaka was dropped on point on 32 runs. On the very first ball of Captain Kane Williamson. Matt Henry got the wicket of K Perera on 4. 50 up for Gunathilaka. K Mendis was caught behind by wicketkeeper Siefert. Gunathilaka also caught by the wicketkeeper on 71. Chandimal was clean bowled by I Sodhi and Sri Lanka lose the 5th wicket on 121 runs.

The twist comes in the match when T Parera came in and played a firing knock for Sri Lanka that troubles New Zealand players a lot. He hit some huge sixes to the front line bowlers of New Zealand. And hit his 1st ODI Hundred on just 57 deliveries.  T Perera played a superb Knock on 140 runs in just 73 balls. But no one from the other end to support him. And finally, Trent Boult took a brilliant catch and get rid of T Parera and all-out Sri Lanka on 298 runs and won the 2nd ODI by 21runs. New Zealand now leads the series by 2-0 of 3 ODI matches series.
