Youngster Devdutt Padikkal played yet another beautiful knock to help Royal Challengers Bangalore clinch a comfortable victory against Rajasthan Royals.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have started off brilliantly this season in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and they are currently at the top of the table after the win against Rajasthan Royals. It is needless to say that RCB have found the solution of their opening duo and a lot of credit goes to young Devdutt Padikkal, who has played consistent cricket so far.

The 20-year old scored 63 off just 45 balls to help Bangalore chase down Rajasthan’s 154 in 19.1 overs. He built a solid partnership with his skipper Virat Kohli, who finally was seen back at this best. The skipper scored an unbeaten 72* off just 53 balls.

After yet another fifty for young Padikkal, he was showered with praises and former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh also didn’t miss the chance to praise the youngster. He also sent the proposal to the youngster that he wants to bat with him.

“Form is temporary class is forever! @imVkohli however I haven’t seen this boy out of form since last 8 years which is unbelievable actually! Paddikal looks really good need to bat together and see who hits longer,” Yuvraj tweeted.

In reply, Padikkal gave a classy reply to the tweet. He revealed that he learnt how to play flick from Yuvi and also revealed his desire he always wanted to bat with the former all-rounder.

“Not competing with you paji. Learnt the flick from you. Always wanted to bat with you. Let’s go,” he replied.
