Pakistan vs South Africa 1st Test Day 1 Highlights 2018. South Africa won the toss and put Pakistan first in to bat in boxing day test match.  Shan Masood is back into the playing xi for injured Haris Sohail. And Mohammad Abbas was also not 100 percent fit for the first test. Imam ul Haq and Fakhar open the boxing day test match.

Mohammad Hafeez already retired from International test cricket. In the very second over of the match, Rabada got a breakthrough when he got Imam ul Haq on 0 runs and Pakistan lose 1st on 1 run. Fakhar Zaman also not according to the expectation and was caught in the slip area and Dayle Steyn targets him. And Pakistan loses the 2nd wicket on the total of 17 runs.

And Dayle Steyn got the wicket of Fakhar Zaman and become the most test wicket taker of South Africa in test cricket. He beat S Pollock in this test match. Pakistan lose 3rd on the total of 54 when Olivier got Shan Masood.  Pakistan loses 4th when Asad Shafiq LBW on 7 Pakistan was 62 with the loss of 4 wickets. Pakistan loses their all wickets by the small margin of time. Only Babar Azam was the man who stands up and scores 51 of 79 balls. He scored his 10th test fifty.

Therefore Pakistan all out on 181 runs. Olivier was the top striker from South Africa who took 6 wickets in the inning.

South Africa Batting:

South Africa also does not provide a good start in term of batting. They also lose their early wicket in a short time. Hassan Ali strikes first and got A Markram early then Amir got the big wicket of the African batting line up the big man Hashim Amla. They lose 2 on 43 runs. Then Shaheen Afridi got 2 back to back wicket on 2 consecutive deliveries.

Elgar and Captain Faf Du Plessis. And South Africa was 44 with the loss of 4 wickets. Bavuma and Bruyn make a partnership of 68 runs and M Amir break this partnership on 112 runs. At the day ends South Africa lose their half team on the score of 127. S Africa trail by 54 runs while they have 5 wickets on hand. Steyn and Bavuma are there to play day 2 game.
