After losing the first two games of the T20I series, the hosts managed to put a comeback to end this year’s limited-overs schedule for both Australia and India. In the presentation ceremony, Hardik Pandya was awarded as the Man of the Series for the three-match T20I series. The all-rounder has made a great comeback after missing out for a while due to injuries and surgeries he underwent consequently.

But the all-rounder named the new sensation in Indian Cricket, Thangarasu Natarajan as his Man of the Series for the T20I series. The left-arm pacer made his ODI and T20I debuts in the same tour and turned out as the key bowler in India’s victories. Pandya took his social media accounts and shared his appreciation for the young fast bowler.

Even after receiving the award, the all-rounder handed over his Man of the Series trophy to the left-arm fast bowler. Natarajan picked up six wickets in the three games with an astonishing average of 13.83 and an economy of 6.92.

“Natarajan, you were outstanding in this series. To perform brilliantly in difficult conditions on your India debut speaks volumes of your talent and hard work. You deserve Man of the Series from my side Bhai! Congratulations to #TeamIndia on the win,” Hardik Pandya tweeted. Soon after the fast bowler also thanked the senior’s acknowledgment.
