Raina likely to join CSK camp soon


Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are having a hard time as the franchise has lost two matches in a succession. Well wishers and fans are talking about its one of the key players all rounder Suresh Raina who pulled himself of Indian premier League (IPL) 2020. The veteran all rounder pulled himself out a few days prior to the start of tournament. However, after returning from the camp , he said that he might head back to UAE anytime.

When the veteran all rounder choose not to play the tournament, it was speculated collision of ideals between the cricketer and the franchise. After that , the batsman cited tragic death of his uncle and cleared all rumours. After he spent some days with his family to attend the mourn, there are multiple reports of returning him in the CSK camp for the rest of the IPL matches.

“He wants to join the CSK camp as he has sorted all issues at his end,”

a person close to the cricketer told Insidesport recently. With this news, the fans are eagerly waiting to see their favourite cricketer in yellow jersey. On the other hand, CSK owner N Srinivasan had earlier cleared that the final decision to allow Raina back in the team will be of MS Dhoni and the team management.

“Look, please understand, that’s not my domain at all. We own a team, we own the franchise but we do not own players. I don’t own the players. I am not the cricket captain… We have the greatest captain of all times. So, why shall I even interfere in cricketing matters?” Srinivasan had earlier said.

Clearance from the board has also issued in the meantime. The BCCI authorities cleared that they will allow Raina of he wants to join CSK camp. But the southpaw will have to make himself available after maintaining the quarantine measurements. Meanwhile, CSK are having a six-day break now before their fourth match which is to be played on October 2 against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
