Remaining PSL matches to be held in November

The tournament was almost over. The rest were just semifinal and final matches. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was unable to host the matches by beating coronavirus terror.

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) was suspended indefinitely as a result. But how many days to say indefinitely? PCB also informed that. The tournament will be held after eight months from now.

The PSL semifinal and final matches will be held in next November. The Twenty20 World Cup is scheduled to take place in Australia in October. The PCB wants to host the rest of the PSL matches within ten days in November after the tournament.

The PCB suspended the PSL on March 17 on suspicion that a player had been infected with a coronavirus playing in the tournament. Multan Sultans-Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings-Lahore Qalandars were two semifinal matches. The final was supposed to be on March 18. The 128 players associated with the PSL were then examined. Evidence of coronavirus infection had not been obtained from anyone.

Confirming the matter, PCB chief executive Wasim Khan said in a teleconference,

“The matter should be discussed with the franchisees. Many have even suggested that the Multan Sultans at the top of the points table be declared as title winners. Or to host the rest of the matches before PSL-6 next year. However, we will try to arrange the last three matches of the PSL in November.”

Meanwhile, due to the PSL suspension, all foreign players have left for their homeland from Pakistan. Almost everyone is living a life imprisonment at home.
