Former Indian skipper and legendary batting god Sachin Tendulkar has stepped forward to help the bat repairman who once repaired his damaged bat after he fell into financial Imbalance. The popularly known ‘Ashraf chacha’ could not pay the hospital bill due to financial difficulties.

The populary known Ashraf’s shop is situated beside the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. He repaired bat throughout his life which extended upto legendary players of India. Meanwhile, Ashraf has been hospitalized for a long time and was having difficulties mitigating hospital bill. Hence, Sachin came forward to help him financially as well as actor Sonu Sood came forward with the help of Ashraf.

The bat repairman was admitted to Savla Hospital for the last 12 days due to diabetes and mid-zone pneumonia. Prashant Jethmalani, a close friend of bat repairman Ashraf, told PTI on Tuesday that Tendulkar came forward and talked to Ashraf’s uncle. He also helped her financially. The legendary batsman promised to stay beside him.
