20 players from Bangladesh have been named in Pakistan Super League 2021 draft.
The draft is divided into four categories- platinum, diamond, gold and silver. Mustafizur Rahman is the only tiger to be included in the platinum category that includes Dawid Malan, Rashid Khan, Chris Gayle and Dale Steyn as well.

Bangladesh T20I captain Mahmudullah Riyad belongs to the diamond category, once again the only man from his country. The diamond list has the likes of Hazratullah Zazai, Mitchell McClenaghan, Liam Plunkett and Andre Fletcher.
Eleven Bangladeshi players are in the long gold category. They are as follows: Abul Hasan, Afif Hossain, Al-Amin Hossain, Alok Kapali, Jubair Hossain, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Mohammad Saifuddin, Mosaddek Hossain, Nasir Hossain, Sunzamul Islam, Taskin Ahmed.
Aside Anamul Haque Bijoy and Mahedi Hasan, the silver category includes some of the surprising Bangladeshi names: Abu Sayem Chowdhury, Mehedi Hasan Rana, Monir Hossain, Nasum Ahmed, Rafsan Al Mahamud
The draft is set to take place on Sunday (January 10). The tournament is slotted from February 20 to March 22.
Tamim Iqbal, who was roped into Lahore Qalandars team in the play-offs last edition, is a name missing. Mahmudullah was called in by Multan Sultans but he could not join due to positive COVID result.
