Shafali Verma executes new version of 360 degree shot
Indian woman cricketer Shafali Verma played a new kind of 360 degree shot in the league match against Sri Lanka in ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is on the floors now in Australia. The tournament is progressing through the league stage matches and is slowly edging towards the knockouts.
In a league stage game, India Women took on Sri Lanka Women. Sri Lanka Women batted first and scored only 113 runs for the loss 9 wickets. India Women managed to chased down the target easily as they beat the opponents by seven wickets with more than five overs to spare.
Indian opening batter Shafali Verma made the chase easier for her team with yet another match winning knock in the tournament. The right handed batter scored 47 runs and missed a well deserved half century for a run out.
During the knock the right-handed batter executed a completely mysterious shot which is a kind of 360 degree shot. Shafali moved to her right crossing the wide line and also went almost behind the stumps when executing the shot. The ball went towards the fine leg region.
