Shakib comes forward to help fighting coronavirus fear

Bangladesh star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has finally come forward to fight coronavirus terror. He has taken initiative to help the poor people in Bangladesh by collecting donations from around the world for his foundation.

In a recent Facebook post, Shakib said:

“The nation is fighting a pandemic today. With the outbreak of coronavirus, many underprivileged people are counting down the days when their livelihoods will return back to normal.”

Shakib’s organization ‘The Shakib Al Hasan Foundation’ stands beside the poor people. After collecting donations from various individuals and organizations around the world, the fund is being given by an initiative called ‘Mission Save Bangladesh.’ The initiative is taken by The Daily Star, and Samakal.

Shakib said, “The Shakib Al Hasan Foundation has taken steps to raise funds from individuals and organizations around the country and around the world to help the underprivileged people affected by Coronavirus. This is going to be the first initiative in which The Shakib Al Hasan Foundation will provide support.

“‘Mission Save Bangladesh’ is an initiative of The Daily Star, and Samakal. The purpose of this project is to provide support to low-income and underprivileged people affected by Coronavirus. So far this project has helped over 2000 underprivileged families and efforts are underway to increase this number.”

To stay beside the poor people, Shakib added, “Let’s all fight together, live together because human beings are there for each other.”
