sourav ganguly: Sourav Ganguly hospitalised after ‘mild cardiac arrest’ | Cricket News

KOLKATA: BCCI president and former India captain Sourav Ganguly was admitted to a hospital in his hometown Kolkata on Saturday after suffering what is being called a “mild cardiac arrest”.
Reportedly, Ganguly complained of dizziness after a workout session at the gymnasium on Saturday morning and was rushed to the Woodlands Hospital where findings of a “mild cardiac arrest” came up. He is scheduled to undergo further tests along with angioplasty.
PTI quoted a hospital official saying, “He is stable now. We are checking whether this pain is due to some cardiac problem or not. He requires to undergo several tests.”
The state chief minister Mamata Banerjee also tweeted about the development, wishing Ganguly a “speedy recovery”.

The cricket fraternity too queued up on social media to wish good health to ‘Dada’, as Ganguly is fondly known.
