South Africa star delays wedding due to coronavirus

South African woman cricketer Lizelle Lee has been compelled to delay her wedding in the midst of the across the nation lockdown in the country forced due to coronavirus pandemic.

Lee was to be married this month on April 10 with her four-and-a-half-year-old friend Tanja Cronje.

She said,

“Whatever the situation, it is not understood. Everything’s stopped. We want to get back to normal life. We are looking forward to playing cricket. I’ve had a lot of ups and down, that’s how cricket goes. I’m enjoying the 50-over format. I feel I have more time to get myself in and score more freely.”
