Zimbabwe announce squad for Pakistan tour


Zimbabwe have announced 20-man squad for the tour of Pakistan. They are set to play three Tests and three T20Is against the hosts.

A piece of good news for both the nations as Zimbabwe is set to return to international cricket after more than seven months while cricket will be returning to Pakistan as they host the men in red. The series will begin on October 30 with the ODI series.

Zimbabwe announced the squad on Saturday with Blessing Muzarabani set to return to international cricket after he was named in the 20-man squad. He has played one Test, 18 one-day international and six T20Is for Zimbabwe.

On the other hand, all the senior cricketers  Brendan Taylor, Tendai Chatara, Craig Ervine, Sikandar Raza, Sean Williams and Elton Chigumbura have made it to the squad for the tour. They will be led by Chamu Chibhabha.

Youngsters Wessly Madhevere and Richard Ngarava also made it to the squad. The men in red have also included two uncapped players – Milton Shumba and Faraz Akram.
